Beads of Courage is a program for children that are coping with serious illness to RECORD, TELL, and OWN their recovery by collecting special beads that document their treatment journey. It all starts on their first day of recovery when they will receive a leather string with their name on it and a BOX to store their collection.

We artisans come into the picture by making the boxes.

The Tetra Woodworking Shop is a fully equipped woodworking shop for students who don’t have a shop and woodworking tools of their own at home. The shop is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 2:30pm and operates on a drop-in basis. The charge is $10/session and that covers the cost of materials for most of the projects. The only requirement for clients is that they have a disability. The requirements for instructors is they have patience, and woodworking experience. Please contact the very friendly: George Shipley for information.
